Memories of the Future Images

This work is inspired by the often tense relationship between man and nature and the constant search for balance between the two.

Fascinated by the inbuilt drive for humans to be close to nature and our equally strong drive to control our environment, the work reflects on the cyclical nature of growth and entropy.

This installation is heavily influenced by recent experiences in China, where the dichotomy between natural beauty and industrialised exploitation was most starkly present.
